Rwanda Kanzu Station
Summary
Rwanda Kanzu Station is a single-origin coffee from Rwanda, grown at 1800 MASL on mineral-rich volcanic soils west of Lake Kivu. Smallholder farmers cultivate the Red Bourbon variety. The coffee is processed using the Dry Washed method: depulped, dry fermented for 24 hours, channel washed, and dried on raised beds for approximately 15 days. The cup profile offers balanced sweetness with prominent notes of apricot, honeycomb, tangerine, and black tea. Roasted to a moderate (medium) level suitable for both filter and espresso extraction. Cup score: 87.
