Rwanda Muhororo
Summary
A washed specialty coffee from the Nyamasheke region of Rwanda. Grown at 1650 masl, this Red Bourbon variety is sourced from over 200 farming families who deliver cherries to the Muhororo Washing Station. The coffee undergoes a 12-14 hour fermentation, is washed, and sun-dried on raised beds for 12-15 days. In the cup, it delivers a clean, vibrant profile with notes of caramel, peach, and cinnamon. The washing station invests in community initiatives including tree distribution and sustainable farming training.
