Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Idido Natural

Summary

This natural-process coffee comes from smallholder families in the Idido community of Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone, grown on garden plots under one hectare using indigenous heirloom landraces (Kurume, Dega, Wolisho). Cherries are hand-delivered daily to the Idido Processing Station, part of the Testi Coffee network, where they are graded, floated, and dried on raised African beds. The coffee is hulled and sorted at Testi's dry mill in Addis Ababa. Flavour notes include pineapple, honey, and pear.
