Finca Casa De Piedra
Summary
Finca Casa de Piedra is a coffee from the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica, produced by Finca Casa de Piedra. Grown at 1500-1800m altitude, this lot uses the Red Catuai variety and undergoes an anaerobic natural processing method: cherries are pre-dried on patios for 48 hours, then fermented in sealed plastic tanks with controlled temperature before being dried on raised beds for approximately 30 days. The cup is fruit-forward and structured with tasting notes of mango, pomegranate, and a funky character, along with red berries, tropical fruit, soft wine-like acidity, a smooth rounded body, and lingering sweetness.
