Peru Pachamama
Summary
Single origin coffee from Peru, produced by the Pachamama group of female growers across nine microlots, including Edith Pena, Mary Montejo and Petronila Lale. Grown at 1900–2100 m among vanilla, sweet potatoes and peanuts, with fruit and neem trees providing shade and natural fungal protection. The Caturra cherries are selectively hand-picked, floated, pulped and fermented anaerobically in plastic barrels for around 18 hours, then washed in clean water and dried in parabolic dryers before hand sorting. Medium roast with notes of apple, chocolate and cherry.
