Ethiopia Alo Anaerobic Washed | Bensa Sidama (single Origin Filter)
Summary
Ethiopian single origin filter coffee from Bensa, Sidama, grown in the highlands around Bombe village at 2100-2550 m. Produced by Tamiru Tadesse of Alo Coffee from the JARC 74158 variety, processed with a zero-fermentation anaerobic washed method: ripe cherries are pulped and mechanically washed without fermentation, then dried on raised African beds for 12 days, turned hourly and shaded from midday sun, rested at approximately 11% moisture. In the cup, elegant floral aromas lead into juicy white peach and honeyed ripe apricot, with bright lemon acidity and a clean, tea-like, balanced structure and a long refreshing finish.
