Makákó Kávégyár is a Hungarian specialty coffee roaster, founded in 2017 and based between Szarvaskő and Eger, where they run their own cafes. From the start they stepped out of line—rejecting the quick-profit, fast-ROI playbook for something far more intentional. All beans are 100% arabica single origins from top-tier plantations, roasted on a world-class Giesen. The lineup spans India Moonsooned Malabar AA, Brazil Yellow Bourbon, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, and limited releases like Papua New Guinea Sigri. No compromises, no subscription—just excellent coffee roasted with conviction, available by the bag or by the cup at their cafes.
