Atitlán Washed
Summary
Washed community lot from the AproCafé Atitlán Growers Association in San Juan La Laguna, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. Grown between 1,560 and 2,200 masl on rich volcanic soils, primarily of Caturra, Bourbon, Catuaí and Pache varieties. Cherries are processed at shared wet mills or on individual farms and slowly dried on patios and raised beds. The cup is vibrant yet comforting, balancing lively acidity with deep sweetness and notes of honey crisp apple, milk chocolate, nougat and a lemon aftertaste. Recommended for both espresso and filter brewing.
