Summary
Bourbon Pointu Grand Cru from Réunion island, produced by Nadia and Patrice de Berge at Plantation de Berge in Les Hauts du Tampon. Grown at 1200m altitude on volcanic soils with organic certification. The Laurina (Bourbon Pointu) variety is processed using natural traditional method with sun-drying on raised beds. Flavour profile features red fruits with notes of cherry, raspberry, apricot, and vanilla. Recommended for both filter and espresso preparation. A rare and low-caffeine variety with less than 400kg annual production from a 3,500m² plot.
