Summary
La Reunion Bourbon Pointu is a speciality coffee from Réunion Island (formerly Bourbon Island), grown in the West Reunion Island region at an altitude of 1300 metres. The coffee is grown under cocoa and vanilla trees on volcanic soil, with sun drying processing. The Bourbon Pointu variety is naturally very low in caffeine. Harvest occurs twice a year with an annual quantity of only 5 tonnes. The coffee has a complex aromatic profile described as intense with a unique cupping experience.
