Kenia Murarandia – Fully Washed
Summary
Single-origin specialty coffee from members of the New Murarandia Farmers Cooperative Society, which unites over 650 smallholder farmers in the Muranga region of Kenya, south of Nyeri. Each farmer cultivates coffee on small plots (usually under 1 ha) and delivers cherries to the Murarandia Factory, a processing station operating since 1997. The farm and cooperative work with Sucafina / Kahawa Bora, which trains farmers in agronomy and processing, resulting in clean and precise lots. Varieties include Batian, Ruiri 11, SL 28 and SL 34. Processed fully washed. Cupping score 85.5.
