Wicho Valdés (geisha)
Summary
Washed Geisha from Santa Isabel farm in the cool, rainy highlands of Cobán, Guatemala, grown at 1,400 m.a.s.l. by producer Wicho Valdés, who leads the family farm and works with natural and regenerative methods. After harvest the coffee is pulped, fermented and washed, then slowly dried first outdoors in the sun and then on raised beds inside well-ventilated greenhouses. Elegant and complex, with green apple, orange blossom and black currant leaf — a subtler, less jasmine-heavy expression of Geisha.
