Single origin coffee from El Salvador, produced at Finca Malacara A by the Alvarez family (fourth generation). Grown in the Apeneca Ilamatepec Mountain range. Varieties: Red Bourbon (90%) and Typica. Washed process. Roasted for espresso. Flavour notes of dark chocolate, black treacle and citrus. Recommended for espresso and milk-based drinks. Produces a rich, chocolatey espresso with sweet fruity citrus notes.
