Ethiopia Gesha Village Oma Natural
Summary
From the Oma plot at Gesha Village Coffee Estate in Bench Maji, Ethiopia, grown at 1931-2040 m by founders Rachel Samuel and Adam Overton. Seeds handpicked from the nearby Gori Gesha forest, where the variety was first catalogued in 1931, were planted on the Oma section, the largest of three plots. Ripe cherries were selectively harvested and sun-dried on raised beds as a natural lot, showcasing original Gesha genetics and historic terroir. Flavour notes of ube, strawberry and violet.
