Summary
Single-origin washed Geisha coffee from Hugo Pareja and his wife Flor Lopez, a young farming couple in La Convención, Cusco, Peru. The coffee is remarkably clean, with an aroma full of roses and a cup full of sweet ripe raspberries and oranges. Hugo also grows Typica, Bourbon, Caturra and Catimor varieties on his farm, and the couple runs their own nursery with 1000 Geisha seedlings. They describe their local Geisha mutation as 'Inca Geisha'. Recommended preparation: V60, 15g coffee per 250g water at 95 °C, extraction 2:20.
