Summary

Specialty coffee from Uganda, Kigezi Valley, produced by Nasser Mutesasira and processed at the Mountain Harvest washing station at around 2200 masl. The lot comes from over 300 smallholder farmers in the Kigezi highlands, near the Virunga massif and lakes Bunyonyi and Mutanda. Varieties Nyasaland, SL28 and SL34. Fully washed: ripe red cherries are pulped, washed and dried on raised beds to 11% moisture, then cured in a temperature-controlled warehouse. Flavour notes of floral, lemon, apricot and caramel. Recommended for espresso and filter.
