Juan Huillca, Perú
Summary
Juan Huillca is a washed Geisha coffee from the Cedruyoc farm in the Calca, Yanatile area of Cusco, Peru, grown at 1850 meters above sea level. The producer, Juan José Huillca Singuña, has over 36 years of experience and focuses on selective harvesting, slow shade drying on raised beds, and a 36-hour washed process. The cup is aromatic and expressive, with notes of ripe peach and pineapple, a candy-like sweetness, and hints of wine or liqueur as it cools. Recommended for filter brewing.
