Kenya Peaberry Ainabtany
Summary
Kenya Peaberry Ainabtany is a fully washed coffee from the West of the Kenyan Rift Valley in Kericho and Bomet counties, produced by Lot 20, a group of Kenyan coffee producers known for transparent sourcing and limited micro-lot releases. The coffee offers a tangy acidity with a crisp, clean aftertaste and complex flavours of chocolate, tropical fruit and citrus, with undertones of sweet plum and grape. Harvested Oct-Feb, it holds an SCA grade of 84. This is a peaberry coffee, formed when a single round seed develops in the cherry instead of two flat seeds.
