
Worka Wuri
Summary
This washed Grade 1 microlot comes from the Worka Wuri wetmill in Gedeb, near Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Produced by approximately 650 local smallholder farmers, the coffee is grown at elevations of 1900-2100 masl. The lot consists of improved Ethiopian selections 74110, 74112, and 7454. Processed using the classic washed method with fermentation for 36-48 hours, followed by sun-drying on raised beds for 12-15 days. The cup profile features notes of green tea, peach, orange, and verbena. Suitable for both espresso and filter brewing.
