Summary

Vietnamese Son La is grown in the mountainous highlands of Northwest Vietnam at 700-1200m ASL, on fertile volcanic soils in a cool, misty climate with distinct seasons and ample rainfall. The coffee is washed processed, giving a clean and bright cup. Small-scale, family-owned farms, including H'Mong and Thai communities, cultivate and harvest the beans using traditional, eco-friendly methods such as shade growing and intercropping with fruit trees. Flavour: clean finish with sweetness, nuts, caramel and cocoa. Aroma: full with light chocolate notes. Body: smooth/medium. Acidity: balanced. Roast: medium.
