Decaf Eye Of The Tiger Espresso
Summary
A seasonal decaf espresso blend from Equator Coffees, combining coffees from Mexico (Chiapas & Oaxaca) and Guatemala (San Juan Sacatépequez). The Mexican component comes from smallholder farmers growing Bourbon, Caturra, Criollo, Mundo Novo, and Typica varieties at 2,900-4,900 feet, while the Guatemalan component comes from the Delgado Family growing Bourbon, Catuai, and Caturra at 5,000-5,700 feet. Both lots are washed processed and decaffeinated using the mountain water process. Tasting notes include cherry preserve, baking spice, and waffles. Roast level is medium-light. Suitable for espresso, moka pot, and pour-over brewing.
