India Harley Arabica (honey)
Summary
A specialty arabica coffee from Harley Estate in the Manjarabad coffee region of Karnataka, India. Grown by third-generation coffee grower DM Purnesh and family, featuring S795 and SLN9 Arabica varieties. The coffee undergoes a Rich Honey (Red/Black Honey) processing method where hand-selected cherries are pulped and dried in their sticky mucilage on raised beds, lending deep sweetness and syrupy body. Flavour notes include treacle tart, peanut butter, golden syrup, and cocoa, with a silky mouthfeel. Roasted on the lighter side for filter brewing but also suitable for espresso.
