Kossa Kebena
Summary
Kossa Kebena is a single origin coffee from Ethiopia's Limmu Kossa District, grown in the highlands of the Kebena Forest at 1,800-1,900 meters above sea level. The 1,000-hectare farm was established in 2009 as a land grant to preserve dense forest, and is farmed by Abdul Sherif. It features Heirloom varieties and a light roast with tasting notes of bright fruit, syrupy body, and sweet berry. The coffee won the 2020 Good Food Award, placing first in a blind tasting of 1,835 entries.
