Summary
A single-origin coffee from the Batak-Aceh region of Sumatra, Indonesia. Grown by smallholder farmers on volcanic soil at 800-1600 meters altitude. Composed of Catimor and Typica varieties. Processed using the traditional Indonesian Giling Basah (wet-hulled) method and sun-dried. Dark roasted (Full City level) and recommended for espresso and moka pot preparation. Flavor profile is dominated by chocolate, earthy, and spicy notes with accents of cocoa, tobacco leaf, and pepper, featuring a long finish reminiscent of honey-flavored black tea.
