Summary
A single-origin Arabica coffee from the Batak-Aceh region of Sumatra, Indonesia, sourced from local smallholder farmers. Grown on volcanic soil at 800-1600 meters above sea level. Varieties include Catimor and Typica. Processed using the traditional Giling Basah (wet-hulled) method and sun-dried. Roasted to Full City (medium) level. Flavor profile features chocolate, cocoa, earthy, spicy, and peppery notes with a long finish reminiscent of honey-sweetened black tea. Available as whole beans.
