San Jose De Alto
Summary
This single-origin specialty coffee comes from the San Jose del Alto region of Peru, produced by Pedro Garcia Diaz on his 2-hectare farm. He grows multiple Arabica varieties including Catuai, Tabi, and Marshel. The coffee is selectively hand-picked, fermented for approximately 36 hours, washed, and dried on covered raised beds for about two weeks. The cup delivers a lively acidity with molasses sweetness, complemented by notes of exotic fruits, buttery biscuit, cocoa, honey, and molasses. Light roasted to preserve the delicate flavours of this exciting lot that reflects the region's characteristics and the family farm's dedicated work.
