
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe
Summary
A single-origin coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, coffee's birthplace. Grown as garden coffee by local smallholders at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,200 metres above sea level. The beans are of Heirloom varietals and processed using washed method with sun-drying. The cup profile offers floral and sweet aromas, with complex flavours of fruit, tea, lemon and berry, a heavy body, and soft, sweet citric acidity. Suitable for all brewing methods including filter and espresso.
