Panama Janson Geisha coffee from the Tierras Altas region in Chiriqui, Panama. Produced by Carl Axel Janson and family, a well-known producer with multiple Best of Panama awards. The Geisha (Green Tip) variety is washed processed: hand-picked at peak ripeness, de-pulped, wet fermented for 24 hours, and dried on raised meshes to 10.5% moisture. Flavor notes include brown sugar, mango, and yellow plum with apricot and caramel aromas, honey and mandarin aftertaste, and citric acidity. Scored 90.0. Optimized for filter brewing.
