La Meseta (2024)

Summary

La Meseta is a single-origin coffee from Colombia, produced by Jonatan Delgado in the Huila region, Bruselas. Grown at 1850 meters above sea level, this Sidra variety undergoes a complex processing: selective picking, floating separation, 48 hours in sealed plastic bags, then a 72-hour fermentation phase in plastic containers where extracted coffee juice is added back to the cherries, followed by slow drying on raised beds for approximately 40 days. The flavour profile features cantaloupe, strawberry, and fragrant shrub notes. Recommended for filter brewing only.
