Summary
La Esperanza is a coffee from Colombia, produced by fourth-generation farmer Hever Armando Trujillo on his family farm Finca La Esperanza in the Rica Brisa area of Tarqí, Huila, at 1900 meters above sea level. The variety is Pink Bourbon, processed using the washed method with spontaneous fermentation. Cherry skins are removed mechanically, then fermented in bags for 40-50 hours, washed, and dried on raised beds shaded by polytunnels for 15-20 days.
