El Vergel

Summary

El Vergel is a Colombian specialty coffee from Finca El Vergel, located near Algeciras at approximately 1920 meters above sea level. The farm has been owned by the Rozo family for over 30 years. This microlot is a dry-processed (natural) Gesha variety by producer Robinson Rozo. After harvesting, the cherries are sorted by floating, fermented in bags for 36 hours, and dried under greenhouse-like tents for about 30 days. The sensory profile includes notes of apricot, pineapple, and strawberry. Recommended for filter preparation.
