El Martillo
Summary
El Martillo is a single-origin coffee from El Salvador, produced by the Salaverria family (6th generation coffee growers). Grown at 1700 meters altitude around the Santa Ana volcano, this lot features Bourbon and Hibrido de San Francisco (a hybrid of Pacas and Bourbon Elite) varieties. The coffee undergoes semi-dry processing and is dried on raised African beds, resulting in sweet, jammy, fruity flavors. Flavour notes include cherry, plum, and dark chocolate. Recommended for espresso preparation.
