
Dame Dabaye (2024)
Summary
Dame Dabaye is a washed Ethiopian coffee from the Guji region, Hambela Wamena area, grown at 1800-2100 meters above sea level. The coffee is produced by smallholder farmers using traditional organic farming methods. It features local heirloom varieties and is processed with spontaneous fermentation. The sensory profile includes notes of peach, lemongrass, and black tea. The cherries are dried on raised beds for approximately 20 days, protected from direct sunlight by nets. The coffee was selected and imported by Ethicoffee and prepared for export by Sibu Coffee.
