Summary
El Tucán is a specialty coffee from Costa Rica's Central Valley region, produced at Brumas del Zurquí micromill by Juan Ramon Alvarado Rodriguez and his family. It features Villa Sarchí variety (a dwarf Bourbon mutation) grown at 1400–1800 MASL altitude. Processed using the natural method, this coffee offers notes of spices, cooked coffee cherry, cocoa, winey acidity, and mellow sweetness. It is roasted to a medium level and suitable for both filter and espresso preparations.
