India Karnataka Washed
Summary
A single origin washed coffee from India's Karnataka region, specifically from the Kerehaklu farm in Chikmagalur, Aldur. Produced by farmers Ajoy and Pranoy Thipaiah at 1200 meters above sea level. This Selection 6 variety undergoes a sequentially fermented washed process using a unique coffee blossom starter culture developed by Pranoy, which captures native microbes from coffee blossoms to inoculate the fermentation. The coffee offers tasting notes of peaches and cream, Assam tea, blackcurrant, hazelnut and milk chocolate, with a creamy and tea-like mouthfeel.
