
Kenya - Top Kii
Summary
A washed Kenyan coffee from the Kii Washing Station in the Embu region at the foot of Mount Kenya, produced by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society. Grown at 1,600-1,800 meters above sea level, this lot features SL28, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties. The cup is vivid and juicy with notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, pomegranate, and rosehip. Processed using a meticulous fully washed method with fermentation for 16-20 hours and slow drying on raised beds.
