Jose Jijón - Putushio Washed
Summary
A washed coffee from Ecuador produced by Jose Jijón at Fincas del Putushio in Loja, Putushio. Grown at over 2200 meters above sea level, this Typica Mejorado variety coffee underwent 24 hours of dry fermentation before being rinsed and dried on raised beds. The cup is intensely floral with jasmine, lavender, and wildflower honey sweetness, complemented by complex citrus, white peach, and subtle mango. The texture is soft with a long, tea-like finish reminiscent of oolong and black tea.
