Single-origin Nicaraguan filter coffee from Finca El Naranjal in the Loma Fría community, Dipilto, Nueva Segovia, owned by Martha Sanchez since 1991. Grown within the Serranías Dipilto–Jalapa Natural Reserve, the coffee is the disease-resistant Parainema variety. Only ripe cherries are selected; the coffee is dried on raised beds and patios over 12 days, moving from sun to shade to reach 12% humidity. Cup profile shows fruity black cherry and strawberry jam acidity with vanilla and dark chocolate notes.
