Uganda Namugowa
Summary
Uganda Namugowa is a microlot from the Mt. Elgon region in eastern Uganda, produced by The Coffee Gardens. It is a 100% Arabica coffee of the Nyasaland, SL14, and SL28 varieties, grown at 1800-2200 meters above sea level. The processing involves a 140-hour method: 100 hours of dry fermentation in tanks, followed by 40 hours of fermentation in cold spring water, then drying on African beds and multi-stage sorting. The cup is juicy and lively with notes of pomelo, cocoa beans, and chocolate, offering a lightly fermented yet clean and clear profile with a long finish.
