Costa Rica Aquiares

Summary

Single-origin coffee from the historic Aquiares farm, the largest coffee farm in Costa Rica, located high on the slopes of the Turrialba Volcano. Grown from the F1 CA variety, a hybrid derived from a cross of Rume Sudan and Sarchimor T5296, and processed using the washed method typical of Costa Rican coffee. The farm is Rainforest Alliance certified and devotes 80% of its land to coffee with the rest conserved. Flavour profile features black cherry, caramel, raisin, toffee and vanilla, with an SCA score of 84.75. Available as whole bean in 250g and 1kg sizes.
