Guatemala Teanzul
Summary
A microlot from Finca Teanzul ('High Ground'), a renowned coffee estate in Guatemala's Santa Rosa region, established in 1880 and managed by the Boppel family for four generations. Grown between 1,372 and 1,635 metres above sea level in volcanic soils. Features the rare Java variety. Processed using the washed method: selectively hand-picked, depulped, fermented for 24-48 hours, washed with spring water and dried slowly on patios. Tasting notes include green grapes, lychee, and nougat with a golden syrup aroma, medium body and medium acidity.
