Summary
Cafe Granja La Esperanza (CGLE) is a family-run farm in Valle del Cauca, Colombia. This Geisha variety coffee from their Cerro Azul farm is processed using the Hybrid Washed method, grown at 1,700-2,000 masl. The cherries are selectively hand-picked at 17-18 Brix, sorted, floated, and fermented for 48 hours before sun-drying for up to 28 days. Flavour notes include white florals, nectarine, apricot, orange, and sparkling white wine.

Grind: 600 to 700 microns
- 0:00Pour 40 ml in a circular manner. Bloom until 30-40 seconds. (30 s)
- 2.Pour 70 ml more in a circular manner until 110 ml total, by 1 minute and 10 seconds.
- 3.Pour 70 ml more in a circular manner until 180 ml total, within 2 minutes.
- 4.For the last pour, focus at the center until 225 ml total.
Pre-wet the paper filter on the dripper and dispose of the water. If water drains slower than 2:40-3:20, adjust grind size.
