This single origin espresso comes from the island of Sumatra in Indonesia, produced by smallholder farmers of Mekar Indah as part of the Orang Utan Coffee Project. The 100% Arabica coffee, of the TimTim variety, grows at 1500 meters and undergoes a washed process. Its flavour profile offers green tea, nuts and cocoa with mild acidity. Roasted medium dark, it is intended for espresso preparation. The project supports the Sumatra Orangutan Conservation Programme and remunerates farmers for ecological farming and conservation guidelines.
