Summary
A single origin coffee from the Gichathaini factory in Nyeri, Kenya, produced by around 800 smallholder members of the Gikanda Farmers Cooperative Society. Grown at 1600-1900 meters elevation. Varieties include SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian. Washed processed with a focus on clean fermentation and thorough washing, resulting in a light roast coffee with structured acidity and clarity. Flavour notes of cranberry, black tea, and honey.
