Summary

Washed Ethiopian single origin from the Gera washing station in the Gera woreda of Djimma, grown at 2,050 metres by smallholders under the shade of false banana trees. Heirloom varieties, handpicked and sun-dried for 12–16 days. Roasted for filter, it shows a lively, fresh acidity of kumquat and lemon with dark oolong adding structure, depth and a tea-like character. Clean, transparent and complex, best brewed as V60 or Chemex at 91–93°C, and fuller and rounder in an Aeropress.
