Los Nogales
Summary
Los Nogales is a natural-process coffee from Finca Los Nogales in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador, owned by the Salaverria family. The 28-hectare farm sits at 1300–1800 m.a.s.l.; cherries are harvested at deep purple ripeness and sun-dried on tiled patios at 1200 m.a.s.l for 20 to 25 days at Beneficio Los Cruces mill. Varieties are Bourbon, Icatu and Timor. A light roast with notes of cacao, cranberry and apple — rich and a little bit boozy, moving through intense sweetness and bright fruits. Best for filter, Aeropress and cafetiere.
