Nano Challa

Summary

From the Gera district in West Oromia, Ethiopia, the Nano Challa Cooperative produces this washed coffee at 1900-2000 meters altitude. The mixed heirloom varietal offers a clean, perfumed cup with notes of nectarine, vanilla, and jasmine. The cooperative consists of over 100 farmers who grow coffee in pristine forests, supported by NGO Technoserve to improve sustainability and quality. The coffee is organically certified. Cherries are hand-sorted, pulped, soaked overnight for fermentation, graded, and dried on raised African beds.
