Summary
A washed Kenyan coffee from the Kii Factory in Kirinyaga, produced by smallholder members of the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS). Grown at 1600m altitude, this peaberry lot features SL28 and SL34 varieties. The washed processing involves pulping, 16-24 hour fermentation, washing with Kii River water, and 12-hour soaking before drying on raised beds for approximately 14 days. The cup profile offers plum, blackcurrant jam, and apricot with bright acidity, a clean sweet character, and lasting jammy sweetness.
