Gachenge AA is a washed coffee from the Kirinyaga region of Kenya, produced by Stephen RGG at the Gachenge Estate. The coffee is grown at 1750 meters elevation and consists of SL28 and SL34 varieties. It undergoes dry fermentation for 16-23 hours, washing, and 12-hour soaking before being sun-dried on raised beds for 14-21 days. The cup profile is bright, juicy and sweet with notes of blackcurrant, plum, blood orange, hibiscus and black tea, offering syrupy sweetness and fresh acidity.
