Summary

Old Brown Java is a single-origin coffee from Java, Indonesia. The beans undergo an ageing process where they are stored in open sheds and exposed to warm, moist air during the rainy season, which changes the raw beans from green to light brown and enhances the flavour. This coffee offers a rich, earthy character with herbaceous notes in the aftertaste, smooth and supple body, and low acidity. Roasted to a medium to dark level, it is recommended for cafetiere or filter brewing.
